Meera Jasmine is an Indian actress, appearing in regional Indian films, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films.
Meera Jasmine was born in Thiruvalla, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala, India, to Joseph and Aleyamma. She completed her studies at Bala Vihar, Thiruvalla Marthoma and boarding school, Thiruvalla. She turned to her high school diploma in March 2000. She was enrolled in a bachelor's degree in zoology at the Assumption College, Changanassery and ended nearly three months when she was spotted by director Blessy (then deputy director Lohithadas) and offered a role in Soothradharan.
